Before. Angle 1 Another before Using a soldering iron to heat up the frets Big nail clippers to pull out. The bigger frets were trickier. No more frets. This took about an hour or so Some minor splintering. couple chunks here or there. Not too too bad up here. Not sure if you can see the teeth on the fret. That is what causes most splintering. after sanding (220 grit), applying putty ..getting there. putty'd up (ended up putting 2nd application on later) Sanded mmm.. very visible splinters where the putty filled in. Maybe darker would have been less obvious, but I like the lines. not THAT bad up here. mmm.. lemon oil. There are 1 < n < 6 coats of poly at this point. All Done All done. Yes. it does have a nice amount of MWAH. I'm aware of the cheap strings.
